So who has the DVD now, and what's the synopsis?
I'm thinking about getting it, if it's worth the big bucks.

I have it. I like it. A lot.
No chops, no real "technique" stuff. Just solid, informative, practically useful breakdowns on creating grooves and parts for ten songs in different styles, along with other, equally practical stuff related to the business of being an in-demand musical drummer.
Gregg's style is slightly goofy, and sometimes rambles a little too much ("get to the frickin' point and DO NOT tell me you come from Detroit, Michigan ever again") - but the conversational style is mostly for the good. You can see why he's a popular clinician - and why he gets hired as much as he does.
I'd give it a comfortable silver medal position, behind Steve Smith's still-secure gold.

Gregg plays one feel at the intro, subtley changes it in the verse (less snare notes) and has a funky turn-around later on that moves the hits around. I don't know the Weckl groove or Jordan Groove mentioned, but this is a nice funky groove.
